Odds are, the Laurel Highlands School Board will be appointing someone to a two-year term after the November election.
Melvyn Sepic received the most votes for both the Democratic and Republican nominations for both the two-year and four-year terms on the school board, making him the only candidate for the two-year term and likely to win one of the five openings for the four-year term.
